Members in some participating Pray Without Ceasing congregations have expressed a desire to take actions in addition to prayer that make a specific difference for their neighbors.

​

Proposed cuts to federal spending have a lot of people worried about the many people who would be affected.  Potential Medicaid cuts – those with the most potential for harm – would affect millions of children, older adults, and people with disabilities.

The 2003 ELCA Social Statement, Caring for Health: Our Shared Endeavor. Pages 26-28 include the robust and still relevant list of Implementing Resolutions enacted by the Churchwide Assembly, which can serve as prayer inspiration for congregations.
